Our Nutritional Yeast Protein is made with inactivated yeast called "S.Ā cerevisiae" - the same strain of yeast is used in baking bread and brewing beer. This strain of yeast is naturally packed with nutrients, and a complete protein source. Most importantly, because it has been regularly consumed by people across the world for thousands of years, it is well tolerated and easily digested by most of the population.
